Spring 2026

It is finally warming up! Today is tomato release day and I will be working in the garden. So much has changed in the past two weeks. My dahlias have gone crazy, a couple of mallard ducks have taken up residence in my pond and I received notice that I won a scholarship to the international encaustic conference in Truro MA. Yikes! That happens just before open studio which is only 3 weeks away. In response to my getting the scholarship I did an encaustic work using one of my eco printed silk scarves. It is called Garden Dance. Appropriate for the season!

Come see all the new work during open studio. Mixed media mosaics, jewelry, eco printed silk scarves and sculptures.

This class will explore the wonderful potential of mixing ceramic, shells, vitreous, smalti and stone. Feel free to bring a personal treasure to add to the mix.

Play with texture and color while focusing on the fundamentals of cutting materials using nippers to create a vibrant 8 x 8 mosaic or 4×12 mosaic in the direct method. Have fun mixing things up! Class is geared to beginner and intermediate mosaic artists, and all levels of experience are welcome.Time: 9:30 AM-5 PM

3 day workshop making a fish suitable for hanging outside year round.

We will cut a 2 foot long fish shape or a more round Sunfish shape from wedi board and use ceramic, epoxy sculpt and glass to complete it. Colored golds to add a little extra bling will be sold at market price.

Friday evening 5 -8 PM to cut and prepare the fish panel. Saturday and Sunday 10 to 5pm to complete your fish! 1-2 hours to be determined to grout your masterpiece!
